MY RECORD BAG: WHEATS

Wheats gives us an insight into his record bag as he handpicks some of his favourite tracks.

He made a lasting impression from his set on Boxing Day set at Mint Warehouse alongside Hot Since 82. We’re certainly looking forward to welcoming him back in the future.

Over to Wheats…

Space Jams – Show Me (TMB Edit)

The Martinez Brother’s never fail to impress me, mixture of the crazy vibe of the bros & a 80’s fix.

Per Hammar & Okain – Ritterfunk

Really cool hats on this & the bassline is real short n snappy. Perfect for me to play acapella’s & fx over.

David Berrie – Gotta Love Lucy

David’s one of my favourite producer’s at the moment, this is one of many records that i play!

Luuk van Dijk – Flangosh

I remember when Luuk first sent me this & I don’t even think it was the final version that came out.. played it for the first time at the Knee Deep In Sound Party @ Mint Warehouse (funny enough) and it’s been a staple in my set’s ever since.

Peace Division – What Is This Sound

Exactly what it says in the title “What Is This Sound”, that’s what i remember saying to my friend a couple years back WHAT IS THIS TUNE when heard by Jamie Jones at DC-10! I play it almost every set!
